Descripción GeneralDay-To-Day Responsibilities:Read and interpret AV systems drawingsGather programming requirementsCreate control modules, control code and user interfacesMentor Associate ProgrammersPerform commissioning and acceptance testing of codeTest integrated systems and perform troubleshooting as neededDemonstrate completed system to clientCreate end-user and programming-related documentationMaintain and update programming code in installed systemsMaintain control code in version control repositoryManage projects using dev-ops platform to track issues, deploy releases and collaborateTravel to various job sites requiredPerform additional tasks, responsibilities, and projects as needed to support the team and organization, ensuring flexibility in adapting to evolving priorities and objectivesWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FORMust-Haves:Proficient with test and calibration equipment and programing languagesProficient in uploading and downloading software in embedded systemsProficient in control system design (Crestron, AMX, Extron, QSC)Solid communication skills with employees, clients and colleagues, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organizationAbility to diagnose and test complex system problemsAdvanced computer skills for the design, configuration, optimization and operations of AV equipmentAbility to work and think independently, ensuring to meet deadlines and adapting to changing prioritiesUnderstanding of computer networking and troubleshootingExceptional organizational skills and excellent attention to detailTwo years’ experience as an AVI-SPL Associate Programmer or three years similar experience outside of AVI-SPLCrestron CTI-P201 or AMX Control Programmer Associate or equivalentCrestron Technician Fundamentals (CTI-CTF) or equivalentAVIXA Essentials of AV Technology or equivalentMinimum High school diploma or equivalentValid Driver’s License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL driving standardsNice-To-Haves:Formal education in Electronics, Software Engineering, or related fieldCTS (Certified Technology Specialist)Experience with C#, JavaScript, Lua, Python, HTML-5, PowerShell, Git version controlExperience with Enterprise VC solutions (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Cisco WebEx etc.) – both hardware and softwareWHY YOU’LL LIKE WORKING HEREMedical benefits, including vision and dentalPaid holidays, sick days, and personal daysEnjoyable and dynamic company cultureTraining and professional development opportunitiesMORE ABOUT USAVI-SPL is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
