We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Third Party Cyber Security Assessor. Role Purpose Our Technology teams work closely with HSBC’s global businesses to help design and build digital services that allow our millions of customers around the world to bank quickly, simply, and securely. We also run and manage our IT infrastructure, data centres and core banking systems that power the world’s leading international bank. Cybersecurity is responsible for enabling HSBC to manage cyber security risks while ensuring effective controls implementation. Main Activities Complete cyber control assurance, security and risk assessments for third party engagements. Deliver all aspects of TPSA Service and Operation, ensuring efficient delivery and continuous improvement. Collaborate with HSBC Business and third-party stakeholders, TPSA region leads and TPSA Team members to meet defined SLAs. Ensure security assessments comply with relevant regulations, standards and internal controls. Communicate requirements and manage stakeholders effectively to deliver cyber outcomes. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in Cyber technical or specialist roles or similar experience. Strong knowledge and experience of IT systems and infrastructure and data security. Good understanding of service management principles. Experience in Third Party Security Assessment Process, control testing or audit disciplines. Relevant Cybersecurity certifications or knowledge is a plus. Genuine enthusiasm for cyber security and willingness to share knowledge and experience technology resources, articles, and other inspiration with others. The candidate will be able to demonstrate strong communication skill in business English and Portuguese – both in verbal and written form; with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes, often under pressure/at pace; constant curiosity and drive to ensure repeatable outcomes are more effectively achieved; experience in managing and influencing stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Interpersonal Skills Influential, credible and persuasive, active listener shows good judgement. Clear communicator able to simplify technical material to business audiences. Ensure a steady improvement in your own skills and capabilities by planning and organising collaborative work and in-house cross-training opportunities. Contribute to the team in achieving monthly targets (e.g. SLA) for Service Management. Collaborate with other members of Third-Party Cyber Security to find optimal solutions to meet technology requirements.
