Become an EXpert as a Senior Fullstack Developer (PHP / Laravel + Shopify) At EX Squared LATAM, we connect top engineering talent across the region with innovative digital projects. We’re looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer with strong experience in PHP / Laravel and Shopify to help build and maintain scalable, high-quality e-commerce solutions. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who is comfortable working across backend and frontend layers, with a strong focus on Shopify-based platforms and custom integrations. What You’ll Do Design, develop, and maintain backend services using PHP and Laravel. Build and customize Shopify themes and storefronts, leveraging Liquid and Shopify APIs. Integrate Shopify with backend services and third-party systems. Develop and maintain scalable, maintainable code following best software engineering practices. Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality user experiences. Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve performance across e-commerce applications. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards. What You’ll Bring 5+ years of professional experience as a Fullstack or Backend Developer. Strong, hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel in production environments. Solid experience working with Shopify, including custom themes, Liquid templating, and API integrations. Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in the context of e-commerce applications. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to code quality and maintainability. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and fast-paced environments. Advanced English proficiency (C1) — able to collaborate with international teams. Nice to Have (Important): Experience with ReactJS for modern frontend development. Experience building or integrating services using NodeJS. Why Join EX Squared?
