OverviewReceives and responds to customer inquiries and complaints relating to production shipments. Acts as liaison between customer and factory order entry for new orders, current production, and prototypes. Responsible for checking customer websites for requirements, performance, etc. Attends daily shipping meetings and supports on-time shipment reporting. ResponsibilitiesReceive and respond to customer inquiries and complaints relating to production shipments. Guide compliant resolution in accordance with company guidelines. Serve as liaison between customer and factory order entry for new orders, current production, and prototypes. Check customer websites for requirements and performance metrics. Attend daily shipping meetings and communicate out-of-line conditions affecting on-time shipments to the customer. Monitor all order entries for production, prototypes, returns, and direct shipments to customers. Calculate and prepare management charts for on-time shipments and customer on-time deliveries. Coordinate with Program/Commercial Managers and IT personnel to resolve EDI errors; generate EDI error reports if applicable (IDOCS). Generate exception reports to coordinate finished goods shipments with warehouse personnel to meet special customer demands. Attend regularly scheduled Customer Complaints meetings to streamline processes. Enter customer-related terms (such as freight terms, pricing) into Future3; issue FFR numbers and review FFR claims. Authorize company-induced outbound freight and manage E&O and customer claim processes. EducationBachelor’s of Science Degree in Business, Marketing or related fieldExperience5 years’ experience in the customer service area in a transportation-type manufacturing setting.
