Data Architecture Engineer – Experienced Professional We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with 3‑5 years of experience to join our Data Engineering team on AWS. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines, ensuring high data quality and availability for analytics and reporting. Collaboration will be with DevOps, ingestion, and business intelligence teams, with nearshore support in Mexico for 24/7 coverage. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines on AWS. Ingest data from diverse sources into centralized Data Lakes and Data Warehouses. Collaborate with DevOps and ingestion teams to ensure smooth data delivery. Monitor production workflows, detect and resolve issues promptly. Document processes and adhere to coding best practices. Enhance existing ETL workflows for performance and reliability. Enable data accessibility via tools like Power BI for reporting teams. Maintain high standards of data quality, governance, and reliability. Required Skills & Qualifications 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in data engineering and ETL development. Proficiency in Python, strong SQL skills for complex queries and data analysis. Experience with AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, EMR, Redshift. Solid understanding of data lake and data warehouse architectures. Knowledge of data modeling (Star/Snowflake schema). Experience integrating with reporting tools like Power BI. Strong troubleshooting skills and proactive system monitoring. Collaborative mindset for cross‑functional teams across geographies. Preferred Qualifications AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty). Experience with DevOps, CI/CD processes, infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, CloudFormation). Exposure to data cataloging, metadata management, and data quality tools.
