TS/MS Associate Sr. leads a team of scientists and engineers responsible for the technical management of Santa Clara's manufacturing processes. The TS/MS Associate Sr. is responsible for the technical administration of the new and previously established processes at the Santa Clara site, including the manufacture and conditioning of ectoparasiticides in the lines of Solids, Liquids and Soaps through the direction of a work team of experts who interact with Production, Quality and Engineering to execute the site agenda and achieve the business plan. Ensure that TS/MS employees know and comply with all current Good Manufacturing Practices seeking to raise awareness of the importance of these in production processes. Create efficient work teams with Quality and Production as process improvements are made and events that happen on site are investigated with respect to events related to production processes. Offer technical excellence Technically manage processes and their improvements. Manage the validation and maintenance of the validated state of the site processes. Manage the qualification of the technical systems of the site. Coordination of periodic review of products (PQR) on site. Improve the production processes of the site seeking to obtain resources with the various stakeholders. Generation and management of technical knowledge of production processes in technical reports and presentations. Model excellence in your pursuit of each of these deliverables. People Development Constantly developing the process, the people and their technical knowledge base. Understand the career aspirations of each TS/MS employee to achieve the above goals, while helping them thrive within the organizations within Elanco and TS/MS. Establish a technical network The TS/MS leader must lead by example to partner with strong technical experts to deliver the best results for the business. Continually develop your own capabilities by developing strong technical contacts within Elanco and the external technical community. Required technical and competency qualifications (education, experience and/or training, certifications) Degree in Engineering or master's degree in Chemistry, Mechanic, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Chemical Pharmaceutical Biologist or related. Previous experience in pharmaceutical technology and manufacturing. Strong experience and knowledge of the requirements of Good Manufacturing Practices where quality and safety regulations are addressed daily. At least five years of experience in process validation and qualification. Three years of experience in similar positions. Teamwork, Effective communication skills and Effective problem solving. Knowledge of the English language required at Advanced level.
