Job Title: FUTURE OPPORTUNITIES: STRATEGIC SOURCING ANALYST IV Job Overview TE Connectivity's Strategic Sourcing Teams develop and implement multi‑year strategies for assigned commodities, suppliers, and parts/services to achieve established goals in supplier quality, delivery, price and service. They align strategy and execution with cross‑functional partners such as engineering, manufacturing, product management and functional owners, execute competitive bid, negotiation, contracting processes and/or technical continuous improvement for assigned commodities or services, and collaborate across Business Units and cross regions for optimal TE leverage. Our teams demonstrate a high level of expertise in procurement competencies (business/supply‑chain acumen, negotiation, sourcing‑strategy development and execution, global savvy, and project and product lifecycle management) and ensure results are delivered compliant with TE policies and procedures. What Your Background Should Look Like Bachelor’s degree preferably in Engineering or Business Administration +5 years of direct experience working at a large manufacturing company English language skills: speech and writing Computer knowledge: MS‑Office, SAP Strong analytic skills Motivated employee, not afraid to faces challenges Action oriented, with high levels of accountability Ability to speak persuasively in front of a large audience Ability to manage both supplier and internal stakeholder relationships Experience managing demanding deadlines and changing priorities Strong team player who works well in international teams with members from a wide array of functional backgrounds Primary Responsibilities KPI focus: STR, DLMP, lead‑time reduction and supplier consolidation; responsible for achieving KPIs including material productivity, delivery, quality metrics and supplier risk assessments; ensure positive PPV impact for assigned category with weekly management of trends and pricing issues Provide strategic and tactical support on plating and miscellaneous commodities Conduct continuous RFQ, benchmarking and negotiations with suppliers to increase savings pipeline Create and nurture relationships with suppliers to achieve KPIs Manage full life‑cycle procurement of assigned categories, including supplier market analysis, raw‑material market tracking, part cost breakdown analysis, current supplier development, contract management and negotiations Perform market analysis to maintain good knowledge of potential trend evolutions within the assigned portfolio (new players, new technologies, etc.) Perform supplier evaluations, including inspection plan development and monitoring supplier quality, delivery and conformance to requirements Responsible for contract management and private brand label agreements and supply agreements for assigned categories Support the development of the 3‑5 year regional commodity plan/categories strategy, in accordance with global, regional and local needs and in alignment with corporate commodity strategy Collaborate with the Regional Strategic Sourcing Manager, Global Commodity Managers and BU’s to issue RFQs, negotiate, award and update contracts within assigned commodities for the AMAS region Maintain continuous internal communication, ensuring cooperation with other departments and BU Engineering to achieve cost‑reduction projects through VA/VE & OMP activities Update functional experts on commodity; understand and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, cost and development Maintain continuous accurate system data Apply root‑cause analysis, risk mitigation, 8D and problem‑solving methods Conduct supplier visits, validation and audit when necessary Support the overall commodity strategy, working in partnership with BU’s in their region on a consolidated global solution Competencies Values: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork Job Locations & Travel Location: 83000, Sonora, MexicoTravel required: 50%–75% Equal Employment Opportunity #J-18808-Ljbffr
