As a Software Engineer, you will have the chance to affect how our client collects and uses data to improve the experience for players. You’ll work closely with the product partner and technical lead to expand data consumption and reporting capabilities and build solutions to improve the development lifecycle for data engineers and insight analysts throughout the organization. You will be helping to enable advancements and fast iteration in Machine Learning and GenAI pipelines, bringing your experience working with globally distributed systems and collaborating with a team of software engineers to build efficient solutions. Key Responsibilities Build and enhance systems that allow team members to more effectively engage with the tools in our data ecosystem. Develop REST and gRPC APIs to expose data services, enable third‑party integrations, and improve developer productivity for data teams. Attend stand‑ups and team rituals, and work with other software engineers to deliver on team goals. Participate in code reviews with other members of the team. Be part of an on‑call rotation to support our live products. Provide meaningful code reviews for other members of the team. Work collaboratively with non‑technical customers to accomplish deliverables. Automate and standardize data pipeline lifecycle processes using CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Docker. Collaborate with infrastructure and platform teams to enhance observability, monitoring, and performance of distributed data systems. Contribute to the enablement of ML and GenAI pipelines by providing scalable data access and orchestration capabilities. Required Qualifications Upper‑intermediate to fluent speaking and writing English. Able to have a real‑time conversation. 5+ years of full‑time hands‑on Python experience. 5+ years of full‑time hands‑on SQL experience. Experience working in an Agile and DevOps environment. Understanding of core data engineering concepts and data pipelines. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and Docker. Experience building backend services, SDKs, or internal tools that serve data engineers, ML engineers, or analysts. Proficiency in integrating with third‑party APIs (e.g., Databricks, AWS) and automating cross‑system workflows. Knowledge of cloud‑based distributed systems, container orchestration (Kubernetes), and observability stacks. Nice to have: Data Warehouse experience.
