Please visit our website: Description The Design Manager will lead and coordinate architectural and interior design for hotel construction and renovation projects in the Bahamas. This role ensures that all designs meet quality, functionality, sustainability, and brand standards, delivering a premium guest experience. The Design Manager will act as the liaison between owners, architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams, overseeing all design phases through execution. Key Responsibilities Design Management: develop and review architectural and interior concepts for new hotels and renovation projects; ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and international standards. Team Coordination: collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors to guarantee technical and aesthetic feasibility; oversee integration of design with project planning, budgeting, and scheduling. Quality Control: validate materials, finishes, and furniture to meet luxury standards and withstand coastal environments. Stakeholder Management: present design proposals and progress updates to owners, investors, and executive teams. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Civil Engineering (Master’s in Project Management preferred). Minimum 7 years in design and project management for hospitality projects. Proven experience in construction and renovation in coastal or island environments. Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp). Knowledge of Bahamian regulations and international standards. Strong communication and leadership skills. Advanced English (Spanish is a plus). Willingness to travel and reside temporarily in the Bahamas during critical project phases.
