OverviewAs an EHS Coordinator, you will design the EHS strategy for PPG Mexico, aligned with corporate policies and strategies. You will ensure full implementation and compliance with Mexican regulations, corporate policies and strategies regarding Environment, Safety, and Industrial Hygiene (EHS) at PPG Mexico. You will direct and guide safety, hygiene, and environmental technicians and engineers.ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with safety and environmental policies, procedures, and standards on site.Identify hazards, assess risks, and promote controls for their mitigation.Coordinate incident and accident investigations, ensuring the correct identification of causes and corrective actions.Verify the correct implementation of work permits (hot work, confined spaces, work at heights).Train or coordinate training and raise awareness among personnel on safety, health, and environmental issues.Implement and maintain PPG's EHS Management System.Participate in internal and external audits, inspections, and process risk assessments.QualificationsField experience required.3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position.
