Position SummaryThe position of Long-Haul Truck Driver in Yerington, NV. This role is primarily responsible for operating semi-trucks with tractor trailers (including doubles and triples) to transport materials and equipment over long distances.Pay RateThis position pays $***** per hour (USD), approximately 531 Mexican pesos per hour (according to the current exchange rate).Job FunctionsOperate semi-trucks to transport materials and equipment safely and efficiently.Deliver loads on time as assigned by the Fleet Coordinator.Ensure cargo is properly secured to prevent damage or injury.Complete all vehicle inspection, safety, and trip checklists before and after each trip.Abide by all DOT regulations, including drive time limitations and Drug & Alcohol Policy.Drive safely in compliance with all traffic laws and adjust driving according to road and weather conditions.Maintain clear and professional communication with government officials and the general public.RequirementsValid Federal Driver’s License (Class B CARGO)Minimum 3 years of semi-truck driving experienceClean driving record with no moving violationsActive medical certificationMust pass background check and drug screeningProficient in GPS and other routing systemsAbility to speak and understand English well enough to read road signs and communicate effectivelyPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentRequires great physical stamina and focus during long driving shifts. Must sit for long periods, walk, reach, listen, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
