Job Summary: The Production Scheduling Supervisor leads the scheduling team, managing and coordinating all aspects of production schedules to ensure efficient, high-quality output. This role is responsible for reviewing and optimizing production processes, monitoring workflow, and driving improvements in efficiency and quality. The supervisor acts as a key liaison between production, inventory, and cross-functional teams, ensuring that customer and business requirements are fully integrated into production planning. Responsibilities: Analyze production scheduling challenges, diagnose underlying issues, and recommend actionable process enhancements to improve overall scheduling effectiveness. Collaborate proactively with cross-functional teams—including manufacturing, supply chain, and quality assurance—to resolve product and process-related issues, aligning production schedules with customer demands and strategic business objectives. Direct and oversee the development and execution of complex production schedules, monitoring workflow, inventory levels, capacity constraints, equipment reliability, and product quality to maintain operational excellence. Review and assess production processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency gains and quality improvements, and implementing best practices across teams. Utilize data-driven approaches to forecast production needs, manage resources, and mitigate risks related to scheduling, capacity, and quality. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing clear feedback and guidance while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Direct, oversee and analyze Sales and Operations information with cross-functional teams to determine production levels of the facility and anticipate manpower or machine requirements. Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. English Advanced. Skills: Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Consistently ensures error-free output by utilizing effective checking tools and learning from past mistakes. Develop and apply checklists to maintain high standards. Cross-Team Integration: Builds strong internal networks to promote collaboration, shares relevant information across divisions, and leverages best practices for optimal team synergy. Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Applies structured critical thinking techniques to make informed decisions, gathers and organizes data, and assesses risks and alternatives. Effective Communication: Provides constructive feedback, communicates clearly in both written and oral formats, and adapts messaging for diverse audiences by avoiding unnecessary technical jargon. Problem Solving: Identifies, documents, and analyzes issues, consider all stakeholder perspectives, and develops alternative solutions using fact-finding and diagnostic tools. Process Management: Interprets process flow diagrams, distinguishes between processes and projects, and identifies and describes key business processes and process improvement initiatives. Production Scheduling and Control: Demonstrates a thorough understanding of production control practices, identifies key scheduling risks, and manages major activities and policies related to production control.
