Primary Purpose of Position: Provides administrative support for the accounts payable function as directed. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Reconciles ERS ODM and Aluminum supplier Transactions & makes necessary corrections. Request and review statements and provides the necessary follow-up. Processes aluminum supplier claims. Processes refunds. Generates ERS batches Attends follow-up meetings with Metal suppliers. Attends follow-up meetings with Illumis Recovery supplier. Reconciles received not vouchered related to Aluminum suppliers. Reviews & reconciles documents on Hold Processes rebates, credit notes and differences from reconciliations provided by the Procurement Finance Team. Processes voucher reversals per instructions from Sourcing or Plant Personnel. Assists with accounts payable guideline documentation and SOP’s. Assists with administering procedures and systems for accounts payable department. Responds to internal and external inquiries. Establishes and maintains an employee relations climate of trust and confidence that will discourage third party interference Initiates, reviews, and follows all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for area of responsibility. Position Requirements: Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Broad training in a related professional field usually acquired through college level education. Job related experience for 2 years minimum. Working knowledge of the following areas: accounting principles, practices, nomenclature, and procedures. Ability to apply independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard accounting techniques, procedures, and criteria. Must be able to handle sensitive related and proprietary information in a confidential manner. Performs such individual assignments as management may direct. Must follow company policies, procedures, practices, and standards of conduct as outlined in the Ball Corporation manuals. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Ability to meet deadlines, concentrate, and pay attention to detail. Ability to analyze and interpret statistical data in order to make recommendations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
