Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic legal counsel on labor and employment matters, ensuring compliance and mitigating business risks.
Monitor regulatory developments and advise leadership on legal and policy implications.
Design and deliver labor law and compliance training programs.
Manage interactions with labor and social security authorities, including audits, claims, and regulatory proceedings.
Develop labor relations strategies, oversee litigation matters, and coordinate external legal counsel.
Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements and employee-related documentation.
Support union relations, collective bargaining negotiations, and collective agreement administration.
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including services, logistics, construction, procurement, and REPSE-related agreements.
Advise stakeholders on contract risk management, compliance requirements, and business transactions.
Lead internal training initiatives on contractual processes and labor compliance.
Support internal investigations and collaborate with compliance teams as needed.
Maintain oversight of labor cases and provide updates to management.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Law.
7+ years of experience in Labor & Employment Law within multinational or corporate environments.
Advanced English proficiency.
Strong experience managing union relationships and collective bargaining negotiations.
Solid knowledge of Mexican labor and social security regulations.
Experience negotiating commercial and operational agreements, including indirect procurement, logistics, REPSE, and construction contracts.
Strong ability to balance business objectives with legal risk management.
High ethical standards, integrity, and commitment to compliance.
