Overview Environmental Laboratory Test Technician II – Apply for this role at Visteon Corporation. Mission of the Role The Environmental Laboratory Test Technician is responsible to execute the different kinds of environmental tests, the design and product validations for Visteon product assurance requisitions according to the customer specifications, following international standards and meeting International Standard Organization 17025 requirements. Key Objectives Deliver the product assurance validation results on time. Maintain the quality system points applicable to the Environmental Laboratory (5S, preventive maintenance, quality checks, calibrations, etc.). Assist the Environmental Laboratory with the purchase process when required (shipments, packages, purchase request forms, email follow‑ups). Support Visteon projects with product assurance validations. Key Performance Indicators Percent of assigned validations completed on time. Audit results and action plans. Elaboration of preventive maintenance on time. Number of non‑conforming works. Execution of quality checks and verifications assigned on time. Key Year One Deliverables Have the technical knowledge to execute at least three different test technologies without technical support (vibration with thermal cycling, power thermal cycling, and 5‑point parametric test). Have the skills to elaborate the test reports for the executed tests. Qualification, Experience and Skills 1 year of relevant experience preferably in automotive, technical electrical testing or electronics industry. Highly desirable experience in machine maintenance. High‑school technical degree or truncated engineering in electronics, electrical mechanics, electrical, or mechatronics. Equipment knowledge: oscilloscope, multimeter, power supply, signal generators. Ability to read electronic diagrams (component symbols, serial and parallel connections). Knowledge of thermal chambers and vibration shakers. Microsoft Office basic level for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Basic English proficiency. Key Behavioral Competency Collaboration.
