Requires strong experience managing and coordinating manufacturing technology transfer experience, in addition, requires experience in the Lean production principles and tools; capable of analyzing the layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods and work force to maximize efficiency; and improving production design for manufacturability.Develop and implement improvements to existing automation in mechanical assembly, machining and inspection processesDevelop and implement maintenance programs for equipmentManage equipment purchase and installationPrepare manufacturing documentationCoordinate projectsWork closely with internal and external customers and vendors to resolve issues and provide technical supportDevelop systems and layouts that follow lean manufacturing philosophies of one-piece flow and kanban, with emphasis on mistake proofing.Lead and direct meetings with other team members and hourly associatesManage tooling and gauge design and drawingsProvide training and guidance to all employee levels in the operation and maintenance of new equipment.Meet and drive equipment OEE and UptimeIn collaboration with Process Engineering drive RTY , FPY and Scrap metric health and improvements.Horario: 12:00 am - 6:00 amLunes a sabadoRequisitosSolid understanding of computer programming and software developmentAbility to troubleshoot equipment problems and perform complex system testsCreative thinking skillsDetail-oriented personalityAbility to communicate well to other members of the development teamAvailability to travelValid USA Visa and Mexican passportManufacturing Automation Engineer with 3-5 years’ experienceLean manufacturing practices (Kanban, Poke-Yoke, JIT, Value Stream Mapping)Tool and fixture design and GD&TStrong Project Management skillsUnderstanding and functional knowledge of PLC’s, low voltage controls, three phase power distribution, vision systems.
