Inventory Operations Manager (Ecommerce) - 1403 Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Position Type: Full-Time About Sleeplay Sleeplay is a leading provider of CPAP equipment and accessories, offering customers high-quality sleep solutions. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an Operations Manager to take ownership of our inventory management and daily operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and optimal stock levels across the business including shipping rates and on time delivery. Sleeplay official website: https://sleeplay.com/ Position Overview The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing inventory management and daily operational execution for Sleeplay’s eCommerce business and Amazon Channel. This role ensures that products flow smoothly from purchase to fulfillment, inventory remains accurate, and operational processes are scalable and reliable. The ideal candidate has strong experience in Shopify-based eCommerce and Amazon operations, inventory control, and system-driven workflows, and is comfortable owning operations end to end in a remote environment. Key Responsibilities Inventory Management Own end-to-end inventory management, including stock levels, replenishment, and forecasting. Ensure inventory accuracy across systems and physical stock. Prevent stockouts and excess inventory through proactive planning and analysis. Monitor inventory turnover, aging stock, and obsolescence. Analyze and apply safety stock to products in the WMS. Daily Operations Oversee daily operational workflows supporting eCommerce order fulfillment. Ensure smooth order flow from Shopify to fulfillment partners and warehouses. Coordinate with warehouses, and suppliers to maintain product availability. Identify operational issues and implement corrective actions. Ownership of on-time delivery performance (SLAs, delays, exceptions). Planning & Forecasting Partner with purchasing, sales, and marketing teams to align demand forecasts. Prepare inventory and operations for promotions, launches, and seasonal peaks. Track forecast accuracy and adjust plans as needed. Systems & Reporting Own inventory and order workflows within Katana and connected systems. Ensure accurate syncing of orders, inventory levels, and product data. Build and maintain reports and dashboards to track operational KPIs. Provide clear visibility into inventory health and operational performance. Process Improvement Document and standardize operational and inventory processes. Drive continuous improvements to reduce errors, delays, and manual work. Support system and process enhancements as Sleeplay scales. Negotiate shipping rates with carriers and logistics partners. Negotiate COGS with vendors to improve margins. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Customer Service, Finance, and Marketing teams. Communicate inventory risks, constraints, and action plans clearly. Support decision-making with accurate data and operational insights. Qualifications & Experience 5+ years of experience in operations, inventory, or supply chain management. Strong experience managing Shopify-based eCommerce operations and Amazon platform. Solid understanding of inventory planning, forecasting, and reconciliation. English proficiency is required (C1 or above). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience working in a fast-paced, remote environment.
