Manager, Clinical Data Management Syneos Health® is a leading fully integrated biopharmaceutical solutions organization built to accelerate customer success. Job Responsibilities Ensure project launch, conduct, and closeout activities performed according to contractual agreements, internal and customer quality standards, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines. Maintain project documentation, TMF, and inspection‑ready state. Manage multiple projects ranging from single studies to global programs, including scope, budget, and resource planning. Monitor financial performance, invoicing, and gross profit targets. Identify and resolve data management project issues, escalating as necessary. Communicate with departments and sponsor to ensure client satisfaction. Review protocol, DMP, CRF and edit check specifications for consistency. Develop corrective action plans for quality issues or non‑compliance. Line‑manage and support staff: interview, onboard, train, mentor, conduct performance reviews and development plans. Assign tasks, monitor productivity, utilization, timeliness, and quality. Prepare for project review meetings and attend sponsor or regulatory audits. Represent Clinical Data Management at business development and sponsor‑related meetings. Provide training for data management staff as required. Maintain departmental resourcing tracking tools. Lead or participate in process improvement or strategic initiatives. Maintain proficiency in data management systems through regular training. Perform other work‑related duties as assigned. Summary of Role The position is responsible for line managing, developing and being accountable for the Clinical Data Processing, Clinical Coders, Clinical Data Associate or Project Data Managers in their assigned team; and for meeting operational targets including quality, performance, utilization, retention and training.
