This is a high-impact role at the forefront of Placer’s transformation into an AI-first organization. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Finance Operations, this role blends AI productivity leadership with finance operations.This role will partner across departments to identify, plan, help implement, and track AI-driven solutions that enhance efficiency, output quality, and decision-making. They will also support core Finance Operations responsibilities, including reporting, research, presentations, project management, spend analysis, and executive support.This is a hands-on, highly visible role for a proactive problem-solver eager to learn the full scope of our business and drive measurable results.ResponsibilitiesAI Transformation: Identify, prioritize, and drive automation opportunities across functions using AI.Support the CTO’s team and others in building scalable workflows, templates, and playbooks that embed AI into daily operations.Partner with department leaders to ensure their teams maximize AI for quality and efficiency.Track and report AI-driven impact (adoption, savings, time reduction, output improvements).Finance Operations & Reporting: Support financial reporting, spend analytics, and other ad-hoc analysis.Conduct research to inform vendor, market, and strategic finance decisions.Assist with contract tracking, usage audits, and cost-optimization initiatives.Develop and maintain executive-ready reports and dashboards.Drive continuous improvement in Finance Operations workflows and tooling, including intake of requests, approvals, renewals, and compliance.Serve as a trusted partner to the Senior Director, Finance Ops on cross-functional projects.Support Executive priorities with analysis, presentations, and follow-through.Anticipate needs and proactively drive tasks to completion with high quality.RequirementsHands-on experience with AI productivity or adjacent tools such as:Familiarity with workflow automation and AI integration platforms (e.g., n8n, Zapier, AirTable, or equivalent).You’ve built workflows that drive efficiency.Ability to design, test, and document repeatable AI-driven processes, templates, and playbooks.Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets. Ability to provide analysis of complex data.You are a go-getter — proactive and able to learn new skills and achieve results.Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects from start to finish.Strong attention to detail and prioritization skills.Proven experience thriving in fast-paced tech environments.Proficient in English.Education & Experience3-6 years of professional experience in procurement, finance operations, sourcing, or related areas – preferably in a high-growth tech/SaaS company.Proven track record of delivering financial results and driving strategic transformation.Familiarity with AI-driven workflow and analytics tools is a must.Plus: Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field.Why Join Placer.ai?Join a rocketship.
