Our client is looking to hire a Graphic Artist. Looking for someone with 2+ years of experience in baby apparel/accessories. This person will be responsible for creating original, on-brand artwork and prints for infant and toddler apparel, including bodies, sets, sleepwear, and related accessories. The role combines strong illustration skills, an understanding of baby trends, and technical proficiency in print production for apparel.Key responsibilitiesCreate original graphics, all-over prints, and placement art for baby apparel across seasonal collections.Translate trend, market, and inspiration research into commercially viable concepts, color stories, and print layouts.Prepare accurate production-ready files, including repeats, color separations, and scale for screen print, embroidery, applique, and digital printing.Collaborate closely with apparel designers, product development, and merchandising to ensure graphics support line plans and key items.Maintain consistency of brand aesthetic and quality across categories, genders, and size ranges within baby.Organize and archive artwork, print libraries, and working files to ensure ease of reference and reuse.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Illustration, Fashion Design, or related field, or equivalent experience.2+ years of experience as a graphic designer/artist in baby or children’s apparel.Advanced proficiency in Adobe IllustratorStrong illustration and typography skills, with a portfolio showing baby or kids’ graphics and print work.Solid understanding of screen printing, embroidery, applique, and all-over print techniques and their limitations on baby garments.Excellent attention to detail, color sensibility, and layout/composition skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take feedback and iterate quickly.Ability to work in a fast-paced, calendar-driven environment and manage multiple styles and seasons at once. #J-18808-Ljbffr
