🔹 Immigration Specialist 📍 Location: Puebla, Mexico 🏢 Work Mode: Full-time | On-site 📊 Reports to: Human Resources Manager About the Role We are looking for an Immigration Processes Specialist to manage and oversee end-to-end immigration procedures in Mexico. This position ensures full compliance with the Instituto Nacional de Migración (INM) and supports foreign employees, executives, and specialized technical staff, minimizing legal and operational risks for the organization. Key Responsibilities Manage immigration procedures in Puebla and Mexico City, including: Temporary and permanent residence visas Work permits Renewals, changes of immigration status, and regularization processes Coordinate employer registration, employment certificates, and mandatory notifications with the INM Prepare, review, and validate immigration files, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and traceability Monitor legal deadlines, permit expirations, and recurring immigration obligations Advise the company and foreign employees on: Immigration rights and obligations Operational restrictions and compliance risks Maintain direct communication with: Immigration authorities Consulates External legal firms and authorized service providers Support internal immigration audits and respond to government inspections or requests Align immigration processes with internal compliance, tax, and labor policies Prepare executive reports on immigration status, risks, and compliance indicators Stay up to date on changes to Mexican Immigration Law and INM regulations What We’re Looking For Education Bachelor’s degree in Law, International Relations, Business Administration, Foreign Trade, or a related field Experience 3 to 5 years of experience managing immigration processes in Mexico Experience supporting foreign executive and technical personnel Background in industrial, technology, or international companies is a plus Technical Skills Solid knowledge of Mexican Immigration Law and INM procedures Immigration compliance and document control Understanding of labor and tax-related implications (preferred) Key Competencies Strong organizational and process management skills High attention to detail with a compliance-focused mindset Clear communication and intercultural awareness Ability to handle confidential information Ability to work under pressure and manage critical deadlines Languages English: Intermediate (legal reading and drafting preferred) Why Join Us Work in an international and dynamic environment High-impact role with direct exposure to compliance and leadership teams Professional growth in immigration and corporate compliance #J-18808-Ljbffr
