Senior Corporate Data Officer – Relocate to Saudi Arabia (Permanent Expat Relocation Package) Full relocation to Saudi Arabia. Position Description: Lead Corporate Data Officer within the Corporate Data Office Division (CDOD) of our Cybersecurity Organization. The role focuses on AI governance, designing and implementing AI governance frameworks to ensure ethical, transparent, and compliant use of AI and ML technologies. Responsibilities include managing enterprise‑wide data governance and overseeing key data strategy performance indicators. Key Responsibilities: Create and enforce policies for responsible AI development, deployment and monitoring, aligning with global regulatory standards. Design and implement comprehensive AI governance frameworks to ensure ethical, transparent and compliant use of AI/ML. Identify and manage AI risks through the risk governance process. Support AI governance process: manage AI inventory, hold governance meetings, and produce management reporting. Align AI governance strategies with organisational objectives, regulatory requirements and industry standards. Conduct AI risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies aligned with the organisation’s risk appetite. Monitor emerging regulatory trends and proactively adapt governance policies to maintain compliance. Develop and deliver awareness programmes to educate stakeholders on AI governance principles, policies and compliance requirements. Provide insights and recommendations on governance‑related challenges and opportunities. Oversee periodic assessments of AI systems to validate adherence to governance standards and regulatory obligations. Conduct impact assessments of AI systems for potential biases, discrimination and negative impacts on Saudi Aramco, individuals and society. Establish AI evaluation and processes. Research AI safety, fairness, bias, transparency, and explainability. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred. Minimum 15 years of experience in application development, system administration and data management, including 10 years in implementing AI, computer vision, NLP and LLM solutions. 5 years of experience designing and implementing AI governance and risk management programmes. Strong knowledge of responsible AI, AI evaluations, bias detection, data‑centric AI, agentic AI, AIOps, data privacy by design, LLM red‑team, explainability, cloud computing environments. Willingness to relocate to Saudi Arabia on a full‑time, permanent basis. English proficiency only.
