Join to apply for the Search Engine Optimization Specialist role at Hire With Near. We are looking for a results‑driven SEO Specialist to lead SEO efforts across 30–40 ecommerce websites. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment and is passionate about driving organic growth through strategic planning, content optimization, and technical improvements. Key Responsibilities Manage SEO strategy and execution across 30–40 ecommerce websites. Conduct keyword research to identify traffic‑driving opportunities and content gaps. Use AI‑powered tools to assist with content generation, optimization, and publishing. Perform AI‑based content audits to assess quality, keyword coverage, freshness, and alignment with SEO best practices. Collaborate with content, development, and merchandising teams to ensure SEO goals align with ecommerce priorities. Monitor and report on keyword rankings, organic traffic trends, CTR, bounce rates, and conversion rates. Implement technical SEO enhancements including schema markup, internal linking, crawl optimization, and page speed improvements. Perform competitive analysis and stay current on algorithm updates and industry trends. Maintain SEO content calendars and ensure on‑time execution of campaigns. Provide regular performance reports and actionable insights to stakeholders. Success Metrics Organic traffic growth month‑over‑month and year‑over‑year across managed sites. Improved click‑through rate (CTR) from organic search results. Growth in ecommerce GMV originating from SEO. Number of SEO‑optimized pages successfully indexed and ranked. Number of new or updated pages created and published per month using AI and SEO insights. ROI on SEO efforts: traffic and revenue impact relative to SEO resource investment. Qualifications 5–7 years of hands‑on SEO experience, ideally with ecommerce websites or marketplaces. Experience in an agency or multi‑client setting. Proven ability to manage multiple projects or accounts simultaneously. Experience working with US clients. Proficiency with tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and GA4. Experience using AI tools for content creation and auditing (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Surfer SEO, Clearscope). Strong grasp of on‑page, off‑page, and technical SEO principles. Familiarity with ecommerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce. Data‑driven mindset with strong analytical and reporting skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience with URL configuration (PIM / Server level). Nice to Have Background in content strategy or ecommerce merchandising.
