About Redstone Redstone Manufacturing makes it easy for companies to source custom metal parts globally. We manage production across partner metal casting and fabrication facilities in India, China, Taiwan, and Mexico, as well as our own 5-axis CNC machining center in Seattle, WA. Our capabilities include sand casting, investment casting, die casting, CNC machining, metal injection molding, plastic injection molding, and sheet metal fabrication. The Role Redstone Manufacturing is hiring a Global NPI & Supplier Development Manager to lead new product introductions, drive supplier capability, and manage complex manufacturing programs from RFQ through mass production. You'll be the technical and commercial bridge between our customers and our suppliers, ensuring manufacturability, quality, timelines, and seamless launches across multiple countries. What You'll Do Run NPI/NPD cycles from prototype through mass production Lead DFM/DFQ reviews and drive design changes with customers Manage sampling, FAIs, PPAP-style documentation, and production readiness Own ramp-up stabilization and supplier corrective actions Coordinate multi-process development (casting, machining, sheet metal, MIM) Oversee active customer programs and supplier projects to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery Manage key customer accounts and lead technical and commercial discussions Conduct manufacturability and drawing reviews with customers Drive supplier qualification, development, and performance improvement Coordinate daily with suppliers and internal teams in China, India, and Taiwan (typically 1–2 hours of evening work) Review and approve inspection plans, quality reports, and shipment documentation Resolve production and logistics issues in real time Lead weekly global operations meetings and project reviews Support pricing strategy and new project onboarding Travel domestically and internationally every 2–3 months for supplier and customer visits What You Bring • 10+ years in metal manufacturing, casting, machining, or supplier quality management • Strong understanding of metal part production and quality control • Proven experience managing overseas suppliers and complex manufacturing programs • Excellent technical and commercial communication skills (comfortable with engineers and executives)• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and strong in follow-through • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred • Full professional proficiency in English; additional languages a plus Why This Role Is Unique This is a high-visibility, global operations role at the intersection of manufacturing, supply chain, and customer success. You'll lead coordination between customers, factories, and Redstone's team, owning quality, delivery, and execution across continents.
