Descripción del trabajo Job Title: Controller / Accountant Location Remote working US Central Standard Time (CST) hours Salary Budget $****-$**** USD/month (Full-Time 40 hours/week) Start Date January **** (can begin onboarding earlier if the right candidate is found) About the Role This role is ideal for a detail-oriented proactive financial professional familiar with US-based accounting best practices who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, can build structure from ambiguity, and wants to take ownership of GLW's financial backbone. You will work closely with our President VP of Operations and our existing support resources. Key Responsibilities Daily & Weekly Responsibilities Oversee the daily cash counting and check deposit process. Perform daily cash balancing to ensure cash collections reconcile with daily invoicing across all brands. Execute weekly payroll process ensuring manager signoff and compliance with company policy. Manage Accounts Payable ensuring accuracy, timeliness and vendor compliance. Manage Accounts Receivable processes ensuring timely collections and driving continuous improvements to reduce aging and increase cash flow. Monthly Responsibilities Lead the monthly close on a timely basis (by the 5th of the month) including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations and producing accurate financial statements. Maintain and improve the disposal tracking system used for AP and regulatory reporting. Produce cash flow forecasts, 13‑week cash models and financial health reporting. Process Improvement & Leadership Implement scalable accounting processes suitable for a $30M multi‑entity home service company. Introduce accrual accounting expense controls and standardized financial workflows across departments. Build dashboards, KPIs and reporting that support operational and leadership decision‑making. Work cross‑functionally with Operations, Dispatch/CX and field teams to improve financial discipline, accountability and transparency. Identify inefficiencies, propose solutions and lead projects that level up GLW's financial maturity. Preferred Qualifications 58 years of progressive accounting or controller‑level experience. Strong understanding of US‑based GAAP accrual accounting and multi‑entity reconciliations. Experience in service industry, home services or construction field operations or similar high‑volume environments preferred. Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets financial modeling and reconciliation processes. Experience with ServiceTitan, QuickBooks or similar service/ERP systems is a major plus. Comfortable working independently, owning deliverables and interpreting incomplete or evolving processes. High integrity, high accountability and extremely strong attention to detail.
