Descripción del trabajo Una importante empresa de telecomunicaciones busca su talento como: Network Security Auditor Educación Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, network engineering, or cybersecurity is generally preferred. Experiencia 3+ Years as Network Security Auditor, Cybersecurity Auditor, Cybersecurity Engineer, Network Engineer or similar. Habilidades Técnicas Strong understanding of network security concepts: security protocols, encryption methods, firewalls, IDS/IPS, vulnerability assessment, security audit, communication, incident response. Expertise in network technologies: networking protocols, routing, switching, network troubleshooting. Experience with security tools and software: SIEM tools, vulnerability scanners, forensic software. Scripting and automation skills. Operating systems: knowledge of Windows, Linux, and other relevant operating systems. Habilidades Blandas Analytical and problem‑solving skills. Attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Learning agility. Certificaciones Deseables Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNA Security, or Security+ demonstrate expertise and enhance the profile. Responsabilidades Schedule and perform regular security control reviews across all security domains—physical and logical—log reviews and other ad‑hoc reviews at supplier sites and ensure they are meeting required standards based on Verizon Contracts / SOW / MSA / Industry best practices. Accurately determine risk levels by monitoring and analyzing session logs across several environments. Initiate daily, weekly, and monthly calls and meetings with business partner project managers to discuss findings and suggest security mitigations and strategies. Assess risk and suggest effective controls to protect Verizon initiatives, requirements, and projects (new infrastructure set‑up, remote access for vendor partners, etc.). Partner with the GCSO team, Verizon vendor manager, and portfolio teams across Verizon/Supplier and other stakeholders as needed and provide effective support on security issues/operations to mitigate risks. Facilitate external or third‑party vendor site assessments and travel to third‑party vendor sites away from the base location if needed. Create a review plan for the area of responsibility and ensure it is followed; set up and carry out vendor assessments in accordance with the review checklists. Draw up test procedures for security controls to assess the effectiveness of the controls. Generate reports and collaborate with respective vendor managers to help mitigate the review findings. Identify ways of preventing issues rather than taking a reactive approach and suggest the same to stakeholders. Conduct investigations for reported possible violations, security breaches, incidents assigned. Deliver key projects initiated within the security operations. Conduct awareness sessions regarding security measures and cover the do’s and don’ts as per Verizon security policies and other industry best practices at the third‑party supplier sites. Ofrecemos Salary: $34,000 to $42,000 monthly (according to experience). Schedule: Hybrid (essential to go to the office when necessary to carry out audits). Availability to travel.
