Payroll Tax Analyst

As a Payroll Tax Analyst, you will use your expertise to process and transfers tax data to payroll provider subsequent to each pay run; audits and reconciles tax records.

You will also ensure payroll tax records are accurate and timely and serve as a liaison between Ceridian Tax Service as well as Thomas and Thorngren.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

• A minimum of two years related work experience.
• Auditing: Knowledge of IRS/State/International audit practices, procedures, and parameters; audit data analysis; audit interviewing and audit action plans.
• Knowledge general tax and issues principles including knowledge of legal and tax reporting requirements, deferred tax, tax equalization, statutory tax, balance sheet.
• Tax research skills as well as a broad knowledge of major tax issues and trends throughout business units and internationally
• Strong General Finance expertise including forms and reports completion, record retention and accounting and operational controls.
• Financial Process knowledge such as forecasting/budgeting, auditing, and reporting.
• Experience with financial information systems such as SAP and other database programs.
