As Distributor's Executive, the post holder will be responsible for implementing a framework that will deliver best in class distribution operations into the assigned territory. This role will be accountable for the development of the commercial proposition and coordinate its implementation at the distributors through the whole assigned area.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drives sales revenue through help building a strong indirect channel partner network
- Optimization of this channel, in terms of new business and the role it has in improving the profitability of existing indirect business.
- Develops and manages core programs that can be adopted in the territory, including product and price promotions.
- Maintains a coordinated annual marketing plan and the development and updating of the 5-year business plan.
- Keeps updated regarding the market, identifying business opportunities and developing proper strategies based on the understanding of the customer and their needs.
- Participates in the creation of commercial proposals and agreements according to the needs and demands of each client.
- Represents the Company in trade fairs, client events, various meetings, class associations, sector entities and other events, aiming to strengthen relationships and prospect clients
- Supports and trains distributors' sales force in merchandising techniques
- Makes commercial visits to clients along with distributor sales rep whenever necessary.
- Manages commercial results of the sector under its responsibility, assessing sales performance and implementing actions for improvement and correction, if necessary.
- Participates in Marketing Strategy and Product Pricing, Value Proposition for Clients, among others
- Manages & leads the Company's participation in competition and bids.
- Ensuring compliance with principles and values of the conduct and ethics code of PLI.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor degree in related areas, desirable Chemical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or Industrial Engineer
- 3 years of indirect sales, better in automotive business or lubricant business
- Management of large commercial accounts
- Experience in an aggressive sales environment
- Notions of Marketing
- Proactive, passionate, and able to work independently
- Average skills in Excel, Word & Power Point
- Fluent in English.
