We are seeking a Senior Buyer for our Electronics & Industrial Business in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico. In this role, you will lead sourcing strategies for North America to enhance our competitive position and achieve business goals while fostering strong supplier relationships.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with businesses and support functions to identify reliable suppliers delivering high-quality products at the best cost.
  • Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, regulations, and best practices to develop category management strategies for long-term success.
  • Utilize DuPont Global Procurement processes and tools to meet functional goals and business requirements.
  • Negotiate and manage supply agreements considering contract terms, demand forecasts, quality standards, and market dynamics.
  • Monitor supplier performance, work cross-functionally to ensure expectations are met, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, or related field.
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in sourcing, manufacturing, or supply chain with strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Data analysis proficiency, IT skills, and knowledge of legal and financial fundamentals.
  • Understanding of supply chain and regulatory requirements with high ethical standards.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and may require travel based on project needs.
