Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Python Lead Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Mexico.

Our client is recognized as one of the fastest-growing influencer agencies worldwide in the US and the mid-size agency segment.

They help brands form authentic long-term relationships by building and cultivating influencer communities on their behalf.

The client's platform enables them to identify influencers for their brand partners, track progress, scale campaigns, measure success, and refine future activities.

The team handles all shipping, logistics, communication, and strategy to create best-in-class influencer marketing programs. They have since worked with leading brands, including Google, Jimmy Choo, Loreal Paris, Amazon, and Lyft.

Requirements:

  • 6 years of experience as a Software Developer.
  • 6+ years of advanced experience with Python.
  • 4+ years of advanced experience with Flask.
  • Proficiency in SQLAlchemy.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases.
  • Understanding of objectoriented programming.
  • Problemsolving skills.
  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant field.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize software engineering knowledge and development techniques and tools to develop, construct, test, and maintain software, data architecture, and analytics tools.
  • Write effective and scalable code in Python.
  • Develop API integration with external and internal apps.
  • Create automated test scripts.
  • Lead junior developers on best practices for software and data architecture and coding.
  • Provide code reviews of junior developers.
  • Work with stakeholders, including the product, development, and design teams, to assist with technical issues and support their infrastructure needs.

Will be a plus:

  • Experience in data engineering.
  • Familiarity with Ruby.
  • Experience with AWS helpful (Elastic Beanstalk, S3, EC2)
