To work for an international and innovating actor in the Telecom Industry, we are looking for a passionate
Operation and Monitoring Engineer to follow the Provisioning & Telecom activities.

You will support, treat and resolve Issues and Alarms. You will be able to participate in the Validation Service Process and End-User tests. We do so through the JIRA ServiceDesk and Centreon/Rundeck Monitoring systems.

Responsibilities
The role of the
Operation and Monitoring Engineer will thus be two-fold,
-
(i)_ to check the supervision screens, to follow the issue management procedures and to find out the resolution when it is possible. The more complex ones can then be redirected to the engineering support team for their handling, but you must still keep ownership;
-
(ii)_ to come up with solutions to improve the efficiency of resolving issues and alarms. This would include automating some of the common tasks as well as analysis of the current system to identify areas that can be improved. Also you will be an important actor on the documentation writing.

Minimum Non-Technical Requirements:

  • Speak excellent conversational English, minimum 90%;
  • Citizen or Resident of Mexico with permission to work
  • Friendly, helpful demeanor with the ability to communicate effectively
  • Has excellent timemanagement and multitasking abilities
  • Facility to work with teams based in different countries, on different time shifts

Minimum Technical Requirements:

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving experience
  • Technical background as Technical support, Monitoring activity, on telecom industry is a must
  • Experiences on provisioning Solution as jBPM or Orkestra UI, Jira ticketing, Centreon, Grafana
  • Advanced experience working with remote management, monitoring, ticketing, knowledge base systems

Profile Experience

  • Experience as Service Desk support or Monitoring Engineer, ideally on OSS/BSS cellular networks
  • Knowledge with capabilities to write / modify scripting, SQL, command line,...
  • Very good attention to details
