Your Mission:

As a pioneering Data Ambassador, you will be at the helm of leveraging Pernod Ricard Mexico's data assets to their fullest potential. Your insights and initiatives will not only enhance data quality but also steer the company towards advanced, data-driven decision-making processes. This role promises a vibrant blend of analytical challenges and collaborative projects, offering you a unique chance to refine both your technical skills and soft skills within a globally strategic program.

What You Will Do:

Craft and manage business metadata to enhance understanding and usage of data across the board.

Keep a clear record of data mappings, detailing the journeys of data flows and ownership.

Drive technical enhancements in data processes to reduce manual labor and streamline operations.

Engage in data exploration, analysis, and visualization to empower the business with data-informed insights.

Develop and maintain data quality dashboards and KPIs, tackling issues proactively and fostering continuous improvement.

Ensure vital data and KPIs are accessible to key stakeholders, enhancing decision-making and strategy.

Initiate and lead projects aimed at cultivating a data-centric culture within the organization.

Implement and advocate for policies that ensure data consistency and integrity, contributing to the success of digital projects and programs.

Collaborate closely with data stewards to guarantee data quality and availability.

Who We're Looking For:

Fluent in professional English, Spanish is highly desirable.

Experienced in data transformation projects, with a knack for coordinating diverse stakeholders.

A logical thinker with a pragmatic approach, armed with technical expertise in data models and SQL.

Proficient in statistical analysis, using tools like Excel, SPSS, or SAS to glean insights from data.

An analytical powerhouse, adept at organizing and interpreting vast amounts of information accurately.

A proactive, autonomous problem solver who thrives in team settings and embraces responsibility.

A self-starter, ready to bring order to chaos and shine in a dynamic environment.

Key Relationships:

You will report to the Local Transformation Manager and work closely with:

Project managers of transformation and data initiatives.

The Global Data Ambassador Program Manager.

Local business experts, Data Stewards, and Data Champions.

HQ Data teams and the local IT department.

VIE (Volunteer for International Experience) contract, based in Pernod Ricard, Mexico.

Starting ASAP with a 1-year renewable contract.
