  • Reporting to the Sr Materials Director BU CEC WW, Supply Chain Solution Manager role involves_..
_will be collaborating with the Global Materials CEC BU to _
- define/review/improve_
- processes and provide tools/systems that will support GAM and SSCM functions in responding to Customer specific requirements regarding Supply Chain Solutions and GPSC targets and execution for purchasing around CEC._

  • Play a crucial role in developing and maintaining good relationships with manufacturing sites and customers. In charge of directing the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of processes and procedures within the organization related to supply chain management. In charge of managing and overseeing the methods and processes in hold up of both new and existing products. Customer face and strategic._

What a typical day looks like:

  • _ Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy_
- _ Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams_
- _ Leads the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)._
- _ Suggest solutions for process improvements_
- _ Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner_
- _ Train and evaluate Supply Chain Team_
- _ Provide constructive feedback to internal and external teams_
- _ Work with finance, sales, and manufacturing team to determine best vendors and distributors_
- _ Build and maintain good relationships with manufacturing sites_
- _ Build and maintain good relationships with customers_
- _ Research and seek out the most cost-efficient shipment procedures and methods_
- _ Organize and oversee inventory by keeping a detailed database of available inventory and expected usage per project to reduce Excess and Obsolescence of material._
- _ Ensure corporate trade compliance policy is followed._
- _ Oversee supply chain crisis management situations._
- _ Participates with other senior managers in establishing corporate strategic plans and goals._
- _ Directs the activities of supply chain managers and staff and oversees planning, budgeting, and maintaining costs for a broad functional area._
- _ Drives supply chain management strategies to deliver customer requirements and maintain Flex's financial drive._

  • _ BA/BS /MBA or equivalent work experience_
- _ Experience on material planning and purchasing_
- _ Experience with BAAN_
- _ Experience with Kinaxis_
