Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to spearhead our Marketing automation and personalization strategy, fundamentally transforming how we integrate and leverage marketing systems to optimize client and prospect interactions across the entire enterprise.

In this role, you will direct the teams, tools, metrics, and processes essential for a unified approach to our marketing efforts, ensuring that all activities are not only efficient but also aligned to enhance user personalization and operational effectiveness.

We are looking for a creative problem-solver who is analytical, technical, and business-oriented who will continually look for ways to modernize and enhance the tools and processes we use, and prioritize enhancements by aligning teams across business silos, while supporting specialized needs for each division.


You must be passionate about optimizing marketing automation platforms and processes, and willing to roll up your sleeves to do some hands-on work in the platforms if the need arises.

The Director of Marketing Technology and Automation will lead and unify two critical teams within our organization: Marketing Automation & Operations and User Personalization.

This strategic role is essential for integrating technology and operations to deliver superior client and prospect experiences.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our Marketo system and enhancing its functionality with various connected applications, thereby playing a crucial role in the execution of enterprise-wide marketing campaigns and initiatives.


In this role you will be responsible for:

Oversee and integrate the operations of the Marketing Automation & Operations and User Personalization teamsManage and optimize the use of our Marketo system and related marketing technology stackLead enterprise-wide marketing campaigns and initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business goalsCollaborate closely with CX Operations to ensure seamless integration of marketing activities into our analytics systems and customer data platformsInterface with marketing teams across the enterprise to support and enhance marketing strategiesBe the point of contact for the marketing technology stack, providing leadership and direction on the use of technology in marketing effortsDrive continuous improvement in marketing processes and technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.


You will need the following skills and experience:
Minimum 12 years of experience in marketing technology, specifically with automation systems such as Marketo, Pardot, or Eloqua.
Proven experience in leading and integrating technology-driven marketing teams.
Strong strategic acumen with a proven track record of managing large-scale marketing initiatives and technology deployments.
Extensive knowledge of CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, and integration with marketing automation tools.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of working effectively across multiple organizational levels.
Solid understanding of data analytics and its application in marketing technology to drive decision-making and improve customer engagement.

And it would be great if you have:
Experience leading both international remote teams and in-person teams.
Background in the financial industry, providing a deeper understanding of the sector's unique challenges and opportunities.
Familiarity with specific tools such as Knak in addition to Marketo, Pardot, and Salesforce.
Experience in advanced customer experience operations and strategies.
