We are looking to add a dedicated Global Payroll Specialist to join our team This a highly visible role in a fast-paced, high growth company.

You will collaborate with business partners and key vendors to ensure payroll execution is timely and accurate. The role is located in Guadalajara, MX.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Assist with the preparation, submission, and audit of payroll data for a set of 15+ countries and in accordance with monthly deadlines
  • Communicate regularly with payroll service providers in domestic and international locations to ensure timely and accurate processing, and according to local requirements
  • Update and maintain payroll records for changes in wages, deductions, new hires, terminations, and department/ division transfers
  • Research and resolve any data conflicts that impact payroll processing with internal and external team members
  • Collect and provide reports and other supporting documentation for internal and/or external audit preparation
  • Support the daytoday global payroll operations
  • Regularly review payroll processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and reliability
  • Manage new and ending payroll registrations
  • Assist with month end closing process by creating and recording journal entries in the ERP system
  • Complete payroll liability and expense reconciliations
  • Execute key SOX controls within the payroll process consistently
  • Assist with SOX and audit requests
  • Provide general support of financial operations and perform other related duties as required and assigned
  • Assist in special projects as assigned by management
  • Adhoc reporting

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Knowledge and experience of payroll calculation/processing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including successful cooperative working relationships within teams and across functions, as well as with external contacts
  • Experience with HRIS/HCM systems i.e., ADP WorkforceNow, ADP Celergo, TMF Payroll, experience is preferred
  • Strong computer skills with intermediate proficiency or higher in Microsoft Word and Excel

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree with emphasis in accounting or business, or equivalent experience preferred
  • 5+ years of Global Payroll experience.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Spanish fluently
