Manages and controls procurement inventory management performance based on data, defined policies, procedures, and best practices to advise and provide solutions to Country Procurement Operations for optimizing their working capital, maximizing Company's results, and leading worldwide initiatives.
Main Responsibilities- Propose and lead initiatives and strategies to improve inventory management processes in warehouses across all countries.
- Coordinate and supervise the implementation of working capital optimization initiatives with procurement countries to facilitate the execution of inventory management targets and optimize Company's results.
- Define, consolidate, and monitor inventory KPIs globally, regionally, and locally to help country operations identify opportunities.
- Establish and recommend global policies and models for inventory management to optimize and ensure control of CEMEX's working capital globally.
- Review current inventory parameters to propose new levels according to new operational activity for optimal inventory.
- Analyze critical and repaired spare parts levels in all countries to set common rules for reducing risk and achieving optimal inventory levels.
- Analyze high rotation items in all countries to propose consignment strategies.
- Recommend virtual or centralized warehouses within one region or among several countries/regions.
- Review current technologies in warehouse management to propose pilots of the warehouse of the future for reduced workload and more efficient processes for end users and procurement personnel.
- Support data cleaning and deduplication campaigns to remove old, unused, or duplicate data from the system for better management and more efficient processes.
- Recommend global policies and models for Item Master Catalog management to ensure quality data classification structure and descriptions supporting data analytics and consolidation for negotiations, purchases, inventories, maintenance, and suppliers' processes.
- Establish a strategy to optimize working capital involving all country Procurement and Operations.
- Ensure compliance with local legal requirements and provide support for new needs and requirements.
- Consolidate global inventory information from different ERP systems and structure models to guarantee updated and accurate information sharing.
- Manage different cultures and languages to advise and provide solutions to help Country Procurement Operations optimize working capital in inventory management.
- Establish a working capital optimization strategy involving all country Procurement and Operations.
- Ensure compliance with local legal requirements and provide support for new needs and requirements.

Bachelor's degree in administration, finance, or engineering, and desirable master's degrees.
