C.H. Robinson is currently looking for a Transportation Procurement Analyst.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and manage international transportation (air & ocean) bids in partnership with the customer.
  • Analyze the results of international transportation bids and help the customer understand the costs/savings of the strategies they are deploying.
  • Manage internal and external customer expectations and relationships
  • Identify, build, and maintain relationships with internal network of relationships
  • Transition relationships to carrier providers, customer stakeholders and TMS providers
  • Provide benchmarking and KPI support with customers
  • Help define internal and external project teams
  • Partner with stakeholders to gain commitment of project team resources
  • Lead and facilitate project tollgate meetings, responsible for results and customer sign off
  • Document project, scope, communications, and expectations
  • Support group methodology, tools, techniques, infrastructure, and presentations
  • Track hours of time spent by project, branch, and assignment in accordance with group guidelines
  • Resolve project issues and escalate when needed
  • Assess and manage project risk
  • Support gathering of postengagement feedback and internal reviews
  • Responsible for quality, review, and delivery of all customer documents
  • Assist other groups, especially sales and account management teams
  • Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements

Qualifications:

Required:
- +2 years of transportation experience
  • Air and Ocean Transportation Bid Consulting.
  • Previous procurement or project management experience will be a strong advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially with MS Excel
  • Collaborate effectively across functions and influence partners.
  • Demonstrate solid negotiation, planning, and problemsolving abilities.
  • Thrive in a fastpaced, decentralized, matrixed, global environment.
  • Build strong relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Efficiently multitask, prioritize projects, and pay strong attention to detail.

Preferred:

  • Preference for experience utilizing bid/sourcing tools (Jaggaer ASO preferred).
  • Previous Project Management experience
