Senior Etl Developer/data Modeler

  • Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in ETL development.
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Expertise in the concepts and best practices of ETL.
  • Knowledge of SQL (query performance tuning, index maintenance, etc.) and database structure.
  • Understanding of data modeling principles.
  • Experience with at least one ETL tool (SSIS, Informatica, Talend).
  • Experience with Snowflake.
  • Familiarity with coding languages (Python, Java).
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure).
  • Ability to perform complex data analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to pick up new data tools and concepts quickly.

Will be a plus:

  • Background in finance.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and continuously expand data pipelines by performing extraction, transformation, and loading activities.
  • Gather requirements and business process knowledge to transform the data in a way geared toward end users' needs.
  • Maintain and improve already existing processes.
  • Ensure that the data architecture is scalable and maintainable.
  • Work with the business in designing and delivering correct, highquality data.
  • Investigate data to identify potential issues within ETL pipelines, notify endusers, and propose adequate solutions.
  • Prepare documentation for further reference.
