Location: Queretaro, Mexico

Working location: Hybrid (50% office, 50% remote)

What's new with Aptar

We have an exciting position open in Queretaro: Inside Sales Account Specialist . This position will be based in Queretaro, Mexico and will be responsible for: assessing all new account opportunities for Aptar Beauty North America, developing those accounts that are your assigned responsibility, and supporting key account activities tied to an Account Manager or the Account Team. Utilize remote and virtual communication primarily to deliver on key performance indicators for assigned accounts and support accounts to meet or exceed sustainable profit growth targets. Work closely with Account Managers and Sales Leadership to ensure success across the portfolio.

This is how your journey begins

1. Assess new accounts and develop assigned accounts through:

  • Utilization of overall sales methodology, processes, tools, and virtual communication
  • Developing an understanding of the unique opportunities within a wide variety of customers with the Beauty market.
  • Engaging customers to understand their needs, problems, opportunities, etc., and use agreed-upon process(es) to assess value for Beauty and then direct account to responsible sales team (including distribution) or manage directly.
  • Managing assigned accounts and provide Aptar solution opportunities to highlight our competitive advantages, proactively involve the necessary internal resources to effectively manage those opportunities and set the standard for service excellence to develop those accounts under your responsibility.
  • Developing meaningful relationships with key internal and external contacts, utilizing primarily virtual communication methods.

2. Sell Aptar products to maximize profitability and increase market and customer share.

  • Continually learn new product and technical knowledge
  • Continually acquire more selling skills (formal training, virtual selling techniques and tools, reading, etc.)
  • Stay knowledgeable of competition
  • Add value to our products through creativity, service, and strong relationships
  • Utilize the CRM system to manage your sales pipeline opportunities
  • Establish customer prices as necessary and prepare/present quotations within our pricing structure to maximize profitability

3. Support Account Managers, as assigned, and Sales Leaders to help grow the portfolio and add value with identified key accounts.

  • Work closely with specific Account Managers to add further value to the key account relationship
  • Gain detailed insight into key account activities, products, projects, and service needs to proactively support the key account
  • Ensure our service levels and communication to key accounts are at an exceptional level
  • Perform and contribute as a member of the Strategic Account Team or Key Account team

4. Continually develop skills and knowledge relating to:

  • New product offerings from Aptar
  • Technical Topics, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing
  • Aptar's Competition and CPG Industry

What you will bring on the journey

Education:

  • College or University Degree required; concentration in Business-related field preferred

Experience:


• Entry level position within sales organization


• 3 to 5 years sales growth experience preferred


• Utilization of web-based and other software platform for sales growth preferred (e.g. C4C, Salesforce, etc.)

Skills:


• Ability to achieve sustained results and drive new business opportunities


• Account development and relationship building skills


• Ability to quickly establish rapport


• Proficient with presentation tools and related technologies


• Sense of urgency and drive to generate results in a fast-paced, evolving environment


• Knowledge of Personal Care, Home Care, and Beauty markets preferred


• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written


• Effective time management and organizational skills


• Ability to identify customer needs and determine value provided to customer


• Naturally curious

Travel Requirements


• Minimal, dependent upon customer needs, but could expand with future responsibilities
