_Accounts Payable Specialist_
**_
- **
_Responsibilities_:

_Responsible for monitoring day to day activities of team members and ensure smooth and noiseless operations_
_ _

_Guide and support the accounts payable, financial accounting and reporting process and review the preparation of financial analysis and general entries to understand the clients' operations_
_ _
-
_Ensure period end close activities are performed according to agreed close schedules and stated company norms_
_ _
-
_Work closely with accounts payable and sourcing to understand business transactions and ensure they are processed and accounted for in appropriate categories accurately_
_ _
-
_Oversee transactions, understands variances and proactively identifies potential problems to streamline and improve productivity and accuracy of the processes_
_ _
-
_Ensure process governance including regular reporting and analysis to key stakeholders - communicate with internal stakeholders on a regular basis to discuss operational issues, key metrics, SLA-CPI._
_ _

_Review and analyze the team's output for appropriate accounting treatment, completeness and accuracy related to general accounting_
_ _

_Understanding of SOX Compliances and monitoring the critical controls_
_ _

_Well versed in drafting and reviewing Work Instructions and SOPs_
_ _

_Audit and monitor key process indicators and metrics to identify process inefficiencies and recommend solutions in compliance with stated company policies_

_Manage customer relations to ensure all disputes and inquiries are handled and resolved within the terms of the SLA's_
_ _
-
_Act as point of escalation to resolve accounting and reporting related issues in a timely manner and ensure all queries are dealt with correctly and efficiently_

_Evaluate and recommend enhancements to systems or other processes to maximize the use of information system resources to develop comprehensive reporting models_

_Promote continuous improvement through best practices, and recommend and implement process improvement initiatives to drive efficiencies_
_ _

_Provide day to day management of the cross functional team in assigning and monitoring deliverables, and motivating and leading the teams to enhance performance and work product_

_Develop the team through effective performance management and monthly appraisals_

_Knowledge & understanding of end to end accounts payable and reporting._

_Experience in BPO or accounts payable position._
_ _

_Strong problem solving, documentation & reporting, research & resolution, data analysis and multi-tasking skills_

_Ability to prioritize, work under pressure and meet required deadlines_
_ _

_Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment and with external customer_
_ _

_Analytical with strong attention to detail_
_ _

_Advanced English Level Required_
_ _

_Ability to work in an ambiguous and virtual environment_
