Site Planning Manager, your future position?


In this role, you will lead the material planning and internal-external production capacity planning for Givaudan's Taste & Wellbeing manufacturing facility in Cuernavaca, Morelos, ensuring the materials availability and efficient production plans guarantying the Inventory, WoFF, Service, Cost, Quality & EHS targets to secure that products can be manufactured and supplied on time to customers from existing manufacturing facilities.


Your key responsibilities will be:


Provide key supply and production capacity (internal & external) inputs to different stakeholders and participate in the design of the local Operations, Supply Chain & Planning strategies as well as definition of related objectives based on input provided by other local functions, e.g.

Commercial or Business Development.

Oversee the design and execution of tactical and operational plans at site level on short, mid and long term to meet Operations & Supply Chain objectives.

Maintain an appropriate level of inventory following corporate standards (SLOB / WoFF).
Control and report achievement of service level targets to Stakeholders.

Control that customers (internal and external) response is made on time and develop realistic plans considering capacity and raw material availability.

Work under the standards of quality, safety and industrial hygiene and good practices.
Analyze planning performance and improve the KPIs by using statistical models, best practices and continuous improvement mindset.
Develop annual budget and expense control, and execute the annual operating plan accordingly.
Act as escalation point for resolution of problems, complaints and prioritization issues.
Oversee the execution of annual human resources processes within the Site Planning team and validates related results.

Work with the local and regional Supply Chain & Operations management as well as HR Business Partner(s) in developing a local talent pipleline.

Drive the development and promotion of Planning talents within and outside Suply Chain & Planning and Operations.

The role is based in Cuernavaca, Morelos, and it requires permanent residence in the city.

Your professional profile includes:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or related discipline.
MBA or Master's Degree in a Technical field is preferred.

At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations with strong background in supply chain planning, materials management, including exposure to business process redesign and systems implementations.

At least 2 years of experience in people management.
Strong affinity to systems and analytical tools.
Proficient in Microsoft office tools.
Understanding of Forecasting (Statistical Models).
APICS Certification (Desired).
Advanced English, both oral and written.
