Financial Pricing and Deductions Analyst

What you'll do:

The position reports directly to the Division Controller.

This role will interface with customers and with cross-functional stakeholders and provide support in investigating and resolving customer related chargebacks that require esclation beyond our credit and collections team.

This position will also create standard practices and procedures regarding business escalation and resolution of these claims.

This individual will be responsible for driving engagement on chargebacks by working with the proper commercial, plant, and divisional contacts to ensure timely resolution of each claim.

This position is a critical in protecting eMobility's financials from unsubstantiated chargebacks and reducing the amount of business' resources involved in resolution.


  • Facilitate resolution of customer deductions by gathering supporting information related to customer debits. Work across departments to determine appropriate resolution of debits
  • Identify root cause of deductions and recommend specific actions to minimze future deductions related to the same customer and issue
  • Research, compile and analyze data; present summarized results and recommendations to regional management regarding deduction trends and opportunities to reduce deduction frequency.
  • As new business price actions are implemented, validate price changes in SAP are correct and align to business expectations
  • Analyze and measure business price realization YoY and compare actuals to expectations
  • Contribute to other financial ad-hoc analyses and special projects including (but not limited to) expanding the use of Business Intelligence tools that reduce reliance on Excel

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree
Required 3 years of business experience; prefer 5 years

Skills:

Familiarity with various ERP systems is helpful (SAP preferred), GetPaid, solid Excel skills including the ability to breakdown data into meaningful analyses and actions
Strong written and verbal English skills. Communicate with both internal and external customers present information, relationship-management, critical thinking and problem-solving, tenacity, ethics
