Position Summary

This role is all about managing and coordinating communications within the trading team and internally. You'll need to stick to the annual promotional schedule for the Royal Caribbean brand, provide branding support, handle translations and approvals, manage projects, and have a solid grasp of the brand. The primary goal is to boost sales and revenue in the market year after year by ensuring all campaigns are well-integrated.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise all trade and internal communications in the market
  • Develop and share the Promotional Calendar with the market
  • Assist Trade Marketing in approving promotional materials
  • Offer feedback and approve assets for Top Accounts
  • Inform Account Executives in Latin America about new itineraries, promotions, and overall brand activity
  • Create reports in both Spanish and English
  • Assist, execute, and back Trade Shows and other activations when required
  • Ensure the brand maintains a strong presence in the trade channel with innovative and impactful campaigns
  • Conduct marketing audits to maintain brand consistency
  • Manage the Trade website for Latin American travel agents, including audits, content, and updates
  • Support events, trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional campaigns, including budget management
  • Assist the Trade Marketing Manager with administrative tasks

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in B2B or B2B2C marketing, ideally in the travel industry
  • Degree educated with a professional marketing qualification
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee various marketing campaigns including press, POS, DM, and digital, and agency management
  • Experience working with PR and journalists, with a preference for travel industry experience

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND SKILLS

  • Proficient in Spanish and English both spoken and written
  • Strong copywriting and grammatical skills in both languages
  • Commercial acumen and creativity
  • Highly motivated with a 'can do' attitude and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and a great team player
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate with teams in Mexico and Miami
  • Strong multitasking abilities and adaptability
  • Excellent presentation skills both written and verbal
  • Proficient in PowerPoint presentations
  • Effective communication skills, innovative and creative thinking, project management abilities
  • Expertise in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier) would be a plus
