Main Responsibilities:

  • Creates and maintains master production schedules. Issues build sheets.
  • Maintains schedules in the operating system based on forecast.
  • Updates information in the Demand Management Database.
  • Maintains a shipping schedule.
  • Participates in regularly scheduled meetings with management and representatives from Order Fulfillment, Marketing, Engineering, etc. to discuss current and future schedules and forecast.
  • Creates optimized build sequence that honors manufacturing constraints and delivery date promised to the customer.
  • Communicates Engineering Change Decisions to production.
  • Ensures computer systems accurately reflect material requirements as driven by forecast and actual orders.

What Skills You Need:

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and factory operations.
  • Understanding of manufacturing databases and inputs.
  • Understanding of bills of material.
  • Working knowledge of the appropriate operating and information systems.

What Makes You Stand Out:

  • Manufacturing and/or operations experience.
  • Experience working in one or more operations support functions such as warehousing, logistics, etc.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting and scheduling.
  • Cross functional work exp in multiple areas, i.e., accounting, product eng, quality, manufacturing ops, warehousing/ distribution, production employee supervision, supply mgmt, marketing, HR, industrial eng, etc.
  • Experience with Production Control systems

Education:

  • Degree in a Business/Management, Engineering/Technology, Supply Management or equivalent experience.
