Responsibilities of this position include providing best-in-class regulatory service through regulatory assessments of product formulations, characteristics, and/or labels and issuance of technical documentation requested by internal and external customers. This position will also participate and/or lead cross-functional projects, serving as the Regulatory team representative, along with representing the company in Trade Associations and with external customers. This position will provide training on regulatory topics to internal and external customers.

Required Qualifications

Description
Level of Education and Discipline
Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Food Science or closely related technical field
Certification and/or Licenses
Experience - functional/industry/commercial knowledge, business acumen
2 years of experience in Food Regulation. Wide knowledge of food additives and Food regulation, broad comprehension of food regulation terminology and technical documentation. Advance English required.

Supports Commercialization process at a national and international level, by ensuring product compliance in the Country of commercialization through the Regulatory Assessment, as well as contributing with the technical and documentary support required by customers such as GHS labels and SDS. Interacts with customers and suppliers to update regulatory changes, as well as the implementation of new Regulations. Provides training and regulatory guidance within and outside the area and to customers. Participates in interdisciplinary projects within the company representing Regulatory. Contributes to the export process by issuing documentation for Free Sales Certificates and Origin Certificates.
