At PayPal, UX Writers work side by side with UX Designers, Product Owners, and Researchers to create customer experiences that empower people and businesses around the world.
We're looking for a UX Writer to write empathetic and inclusive content to make complex financial problems easy for customers.
This role works directly with product partners to define project requirements, create robust content strategies, and craft content that builds trust with our brand.
Job Description:
Meet the Team
We're a content design and strategy team responsible for creating content for PayPal web and mobile product experiences. We're highly collaborative and energetic as we juggle multiple projects. This is a new role that will be part of a growing team based in Mexico.
Your way to Impact:
You Day to Day:
- Transform global product requirements into a content strategy for meeting business goals and solving real customer problems.
- Present your work and articulate your approach to teammates, product owners, and other stakeholders.
- Partner with Design on page layout, interactions, visual tone, and accessibility standards.
- Coordinate content with Brand, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure we create a consistent endtoend experience.
- Partner with Legal and Risk to deliver content that complies with regulations.
- Use data and research to evaluate your content's impact, and push for continuous improvement that shows real results.
- Maintain and evolve PayPal's content standards, including voice and tone.
- Learn a lot, make an impact, have fun.
What you need to bring:
- 3+ years of professional writing experience.
- Fluency in written English.
- Excellent, highly creative writing and criticalthinking skills.
- Experience working with content standards, such as style and voice and tone guidelines.
- At ease contributing to multiple projects, setting stakeholder expectations, working individually and collaborating across teams.
- Experience in financial services, payments, B2B or B2C ecommerce is preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Design, Information Science or related fields is preferred, but not required.
