WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

The Senior Principal of LATAM Distributors Stores leads and manages a diverse, multi-concept, in-line retail store business across Central and South America through our distributors. The Senior Principal is also responsible for developing and driving clear guidance for the distributors' retail team on how to align with Nike's NDS vision to meet goals related to consumer satisfaction, profitability, and efficiency.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

As the Senior Principal of LATAM Distributors Stores, your primary responsibilities will be to enhance performance and create opportunities for growth in revenue, membership, and operating income across the Central and South America region. You will be responsible for guiding the distributor's retail team to bring the Nike Brand to life in retail through the implementation of key brand, product, marketing, and seasonal initiatives. Additionally, you will collaborate with our distributors to build and lead a diverse team and foster a culture of inclusivity. Your role will involve realizing the vision of Nike Stores in the marketplace through the retail concept offense and ensuring operational excellence. You will also play a crucial part in shaping the B&M landscape with real estate excellence and active fleet editing/expansion.

You will be expected to develop strategic and operational plans to enable the distributors' team to enhance the Nike experience for athletes and consumers across Central and South America. Furthermore, you will establish with the distributor's team monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting and forecasting processes that align with the overall Nike LATAM Distributors' plan.

This role holds accountability for making decisions about size and location and influencing Merch, Planning, and Marketing strategies in support of the NDS Fleet. Moreover, you will influence and support the distributors in determining the investment in expansion, scale of services, tools, and operational programs, as well as the best way to leverage NAX programs to empower and inspire the Distributor's Frontline talent.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

In this role, you will collaborate with various cross-functional teams from APLA GEO, LATAM Territory, and Retail Distributors teams, including Store Operations, Human Resources, Merchandising, Planning, and Loss Prevention. Together, you will develop and execute strategies and initiatives to support Distributors NDS in achieving business objectives and enhancing customer satisfaction. Your strong mentorship, leadership, and influencing skills will be instrumental in driving solutions and actions through your business partners. Additionally, you will closely collaborate with LATAM Distributors and Country Leads to shape the Marketplace across all MPUs.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
  • 10 or more years of retail management, preferably with a minimum of 5 years of experience in multi-concept management
  • Experience leading in an Omni-Channel Retail environment
  • Ability to lead, influence, and motivate others to achieve business results through trust-based relationships and shared goals.
  • Ability to provide insights and trends to advise regional strategies while successfully navigating complex business problems and leading large-scale initiatives with cross-functional business partners.
  • Experience leading the development of a comprehensive business plan, encompassing strategy, measurement, and budgeting, resulting in consistent year-over-year growth.
  • Outstanding business insight and problem-solving skills driven by strategic critical thinking, transparency, and vision across competing priorities and timelines
