_PRIMARY FUNCTION_

  • The major role of GTM Analyst is to ensure the temporary inventory for Cuautitlan plant, meets with all Mexican Customs regulations with an import/export operation and customs transactions performed a year. There are roughly 223 customs requirements per site that this position needs to ensure in order to maintain the current certifications and government programs such as IMMEX, PROSEC, C-TPAT, OEA programs and VAT certification among others. This position is also responsible for maintaining and updating compliance documents to reflect current regulatory requirements and procedures/. GTM Analyst is responsible for engagement delivery, customs compliance and quality, productivity and report management, and exception management; as well as reporting metrics or KPIs of their operation in charge.

_Job responsibilities_

  • Ensure for the temporary inventory management of CWD Cuautitlan
  • Ensure the data integrity of Trade Compliance Processes
  • Ensure the full compliance with new customs regulations, free trade agreements, etc.
  • Monitor the import/export of raw materials, finished goods, equipment, scrap, nonproductive material, excess and obsoletes (E&O) operation on a monthly basis
  • Perform audits to the annex 24 (Interfaces, operations report, I/E modules, BOMs, product values and costs, country of origin, NAFTA Certificates or manufacturer affidavit, duty payments) and maintain this information updated in the system.
  • Inventory reconciliation performance between annex 24 and ERP (SAP, Oracle, MFG Pro, AS400, ERP, QAD, and ENOVIA) including: cycle counts, receiving discrepancies, inventory adjustments company losses, perpetual inventories and company sales.
  • Responsible for maintaining the electronic or hard copy records for the customs operations performed in Mexico such as reports of Annex 31 and Annex 2
  • Maintain strong communication with all members for businesses in charge
  • Oversee inventory reconciliation of fixed assets vs import records (open balance)
  • Ability to work with SCM to validate the necessary information of raw materials, identify new products and BOMs as well with other departments that need support from the trade compliance team.
  • Provide accurate information to GTM, VAT team related to the VAT certification including monthly reports, temporary inventory conciliations a month, assistance to fix deviations on the temporary inventory
  • Ensure Mexican sites in charge, being in compliance with reporting managements, including among others: submanfacturer report, GTM Mexico monthly report
  • Stay up to date with the law and other customs regulations applicable to import and export trade operations.

  • Bachelor's degree in Trade Compliance and/or Customs Law."
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the field

_Technican knowledge_

  • Proficient Microsoft Office (Excel audit formulas)
  • Knowledge of Vastera

  • Ability to Implement Customs Software
  • Develop efficient interfaces between ERP and Annex
