Responsibilities

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an Art Director to collaborate with junior artists, writers, and marketers to create content for our brand portfolio across all platforms. A successful Art Director must possess a high level of proficiency in graphic design software, the ability to edit and manipulate creative assets, and will be accountable for producing graphics ready for production.

This individual should have a solid background in design and creative direction (either in a brand agency or an in-house creative team) with significant experience in Graphic Design, Creative Work, and Brand Identities. They should also be a strategic thinker with a proven history of leading initiatives across various mediums such as digital, print, POS, OOH, social media, and motion. The ideal candidate must be comfortable leading teams and collaborating with different departments, yet willing to get hands-on when needed.

Your Impact

As Sr Art Director, your responsibilities would include:

  • Guide the creative development and execution for brand strategy, identity, voice, and messaging across all touchpoints of the brand experience.
  • Conceptualize creative audiovisual ideas based on communication objectives.
  • Demonstrate a strong creative vision and provide clear direction to the internal team.
  • Develop innovative ideas, graphic designs, and concepts for various platforms including digital, social, print, POS, OOH, and motion.
  • Generate new concepts quickly based on stakeholder input and independent research.
  • Lead, inspire, and manage a top-tier art and creative team.
  • Foster a culture of excellence as a respected leader within the in-house creative team.
  • Present and pitch creative concepts to peers and senior management.
  • Translate brand concepts visually, adhering closely to brand guidelines.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and stay organized while adapting to changing business and cultural trends.

Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., interactive design, graphic design, visual arts, communication, advertising, etc.)
  • 6+ years' experience in a creative, art direction, or marketing role within a consumer brand or creative agency.
  • 3+ years' experience leading diverse creative teams in fast-paced, strategic design and production environments.
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish is required for this position.
  • Proficient in Adobe CC suite, including After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Familiarity with social media aspect ratios and file delivery types.
  • Online portfolio showcasing diverse and standout digital work.
  • Experience working with creative teams in agencies or in-house settings, with CPG experience being essential.
  • Professional demeanor, capable of delivering quality work within tight deadlines and working independently.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to influence creative decisions.
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint, Teams, Sharepoint, and Project Management Tools.
