General Description:


The Automation Cloud Administrator is tasked to help maintain the RPA infrastructure and ensure release management for the Americas Region.

The individual acts as a main liaison into IT and ensures environment stability, while also supporting development teams on migrating projects through environments.


Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Provisioning and Management: Ensures development teams have required infrastructure, environments, and access in place to execute development plans through collaboration with shared services team.

  • Works with IT to provision automation infrastructure, including provisioning of new robots and associating them to different environments.

Platform Administration: Manage and maintain orchestrator platform, user access, license mgmt., scheduling, environment, etc.

  • Assists in the automation lifecycle by managing production environments and code migrations, ensuring separation of duties.

Performance monitoring and optimization: Supports infrastructure operations and strategy, monitoring health, status of deployed machines and system performance.

  • Works with the UiPath SaaS team to ensure proper usage and maintenance of Automation Cloud and Installed software to ensure it remains secure, stable, and upto date with the latest features.

Security and Compliance: Supports escalation requests regarding Infrastructure/Security by working with relevant teams.

Backup and disaster recovery: Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure availability and integrity of RPA automation data together with the corresponding teams.

Continuous Improvement: Identify, analyze, and implement enhancements to optimize performance, effectiveness and cost associated with the UiPath Automation environment.

Training and Support: Provide basic guidance and support to users, developers and other stakeholders involved in using RPA Automation environment.

Documentation: Maintain updated documentation of configurations and procedures related to RPA infrastructure, environments, and access.

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or a related field.


Postgraduate degree
  • Desirable.
  • UiPath Automation Developer Professional Certification
  • Desirable.

Previous Work Experience

  • 35 Years of relevant experience in RPA, use of the UiPath Automation Platform and Infrastructure.
  • RPA Platform interfacing (Orchestrator, Automation Hub, Insights, etc.).

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Language: Spanish & English intermediate to advanced, Portuguese Desirable.
  • Must have:
  • Familiarization with the Least Privileged Access principle.
  • Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle as used with RPA.
  • Strong understanding of RPA concepts, principles and best practices.
  • Quick technical learner able to pick up sets of responsibilities quickly.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Expertise with the UiPath Automation Cloud suite
  • Experience with crossregional teams
  • Experience with Windows Server
  • Nice to have:
  • Working knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau
  • Project Management Methodologies
  • AWS Cloud Platform
  • Network protocols and network administration knowledge, network security.
  • Good knowledge of security as it relates to cloudbased infrastructure.
  • Understanding of cloud computing concepts.
